The French Studio

ur pied-a-terre will take you to another time and another place... turn of the century France. This fantastic studio, encompasses over 700 square feet of living space. Views of Red Mountain and downtown Aspen provide the backdrop, while the kitchen with its full size appliances, and a quaint bathroom with upholstered walls, (and appointed with antique French art), will provide you with all you need for a night or even a month.

The bedroom is upholstered in sheared Wedgwood blue fabric. The ceiling is tented with cream fabric, and gathered into a stunning French turn of the century crystal chandelier. Exposed brick from 1886 is on one wall adding warmth and history to the room. Museum quality oil paintings highlight the room. The bathroom has recently be upgraded with a marble vanity and marble floor. This studio also has been upgraded with new hard wood floors.

The furnishings in the French Studio are highlighted with a beautiful, spacious California King size canopy bed. Covered with linens by Ralph Lauren with loads of extra down and feathers, it is a real treat after a full day in the mountains.

The Tiffany lamps and the flames from the wood-burning fireplace cast a soft glow. The sitting area consists of two spectacular Venetian chairs from the Castle of Chapultepec, and a lovely Ralph Lauren sofa that is perfect for curling up with a good book.

The room also offers an abundance of new-world luxuries including a TV, DVD player, VCR and a little cute stereo. And as can be found throughout the whole hotel, you will find a free high-speed wireless internet connection.

A small dining area separates the kitchen and the sleeping area. Fully stocked, china, crystal and silver make it easy to dine in, or enjoy some of the country’s best restaurants only steps away. With all it’s charm the French Studio is the perfect setting to begin a romance, or rekindle the one you already have.
